INTWEBFEST 2003 Summary.

In the exhibition division of the first festival, there were 79 exhibitors consisted from the leader IT organizations of Iran and pioneer electronic content creator.

During the exhibition, every night Iranian national TV broadcasted around 20 minutes video reportage of the day. Additionally a live TV forum was held to introduce the festival.

The festival office received more than 145 papers for seminars division. 75 out of them selected and presented during the festival.

In Competition division, 17630 web sites competed in the first round, 330 sites selected for the prizes and 135 out of them were awarded in different categories.

Foreign media were attended to the festival as the first important Iranian IT event. BBC put the news on its home page. Giga.de and other Persian Radio Stations were also attending the improvement in the Middle East on their video/audio programs and on their web sites.

Approximately 4700 visitors attended the festival physically, and during the last 20 days (ended on the ending day of the first festival), the festival official web site had near 1,000,000 visitors! (50,000 visitors per day), based on the counting services on the web. Some news are read from 100,000 to 400,000 times during these days.

During the festival, there were around 9,700 individual web sites and weblogs writing about the festival.

That is why you should attend the festival. This is not ignorable!
